fine arts festivals - of dance,
music and theatre are held at different locations, making the
city come alive.

popular hill stations. Mukurthi,
Masinagudi /
Mudumalai ,
Vedanthangal and the
mangrove forests in
Pichavaram are wildlife
spots of importance and promote
eco-tourism. Pollachi, near
Coimbatore is a
picturesque location, which has become a
popular tourist destination due to the various Tamil
films shot here. Kanyakumari, the
southern most tip of
peninsular India, is the meeting point of
three oceans - the Bay of Bengal,
the Indian Ocean, and the Arabian Sea.
