Climate
Though Poovar, like most
places in Kerala has a tropical climate, the
waters around and a light breeze make it
cooler in summers. Poovar has
wet monsoons from
June-Sep and a cool winter
thereafter from mid Oct -Jan.
Language
Malayalam is the most
prevalent language but one can communicate in basic
English in some tourist
places.
