Climate The weather is
dry, short, hot summers
(Mar-June), which end once the
usually mild monsoon sets in around June, making it
cool and pleasant. The
winter months (Oct-Feb) are mildly cold
and dry.
Language The official
language is Kannada but
English is spoken in major
tourist locales.
Connectivity
Karnataka
has one international airport and
three regional airports which connects the
state with the rest of India. Rail and
road connectivity is also good.
Overnight / express trains

has launched a Heritage train - "The Golden

schist (soap stone) and the world’s tallest sculpted monolith
