Climate Kannur (Cannanore) has
a humid climate with an oppressive
hot season from March-May, followed by the
south-west monsoon till
end-Sep. Oct-Nov is the post-monsoon or
retreating monsoon season.
During Apr-May, the mean daily maximum temperature is
about 35 °C, while in Dec-Jan, the minimum temperature
is about 20 °C.
Language Malayalam is the most
prevalent language but one can communicate in basic
English in some tourist
places.
