Day 1: Arrive Cochin
On arrival at Cochin airport / Ernakulum railway station, placard pick up & transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day to explore Cochin. Evening enjoy English translated Kathakali / Kalaripayattu show.
Cochin has one of the oldest churches in India, 500 years old Portuguese houses, a Jewish town with meticulously preserved synagogues. Also visit the Mantanacherry Palace built by the Portuguese. Overnight stay in Cochin.
Day 2: Cochin - Munnar (Approx 134 kms - 4 hrs)
After early breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed for Munnar.
Afternoon at leisure & overnight stay in Munnar
Munnar literally means the confluence of three mountain streams (Madurapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala). Under British rule, Munnar was the summer resort of Government officials. Muannar's charm, serenity and mild weather make it a 365-day tourist attraction. There are about 30 tea plantations in and around Munnar. The tea estates, hills, lakes and forests lend immensely to Munnar's beauty. Later in the afternoon visit the Kannan Devan Hills from here you have a panoramic view of Munnar Tea Estates and the Lake of Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar
Day to explore the beauty of Munnar. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 4: Munnar - Thekkady (Approx 110 kms - 4 hrs)
After early breakfast, check out from the resort & proceed to Thekkady ( Periyar Wildlife sanctuary ). In the afternoon go out and discover the park and its wildlife by boat. Overnight stay at Thekkady
Day 5: Thekkady - Alleppey Houseboat (about 130 kms -4 hrs )
After early breakfast, check out from the resort & drive toAlleppey
Check in to House boat at 1200hrs. Cruise through the backwaters
All meals will be served aboard. Overnight on board.
Day 6: : - Cochin (about 60 kms - 2 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the houseboat by 0930 hrs
Drive back to Cochin for onward connection
